Computer Vision Algorithm is a Go!

Computer Vision algorithm identifying different faces of the target CubeSat. The computer vision algorithm is successfully working! It can identify the different faces of the target CubeSat and use that information to find and center the docking face. It works by looking for the color orange within a certain range of orange for the docking face, and blue within a certain range of blue for the non-docking faces. An assumption made here is that there are no other blue or orange objects in view to throw off the camera from finding the target CubeSat. However, with proper lighting, it is extremely successful at finding the different faces. The Raspberry Pi, which has the camera attached to it, is running OpenCV, which is a python package for viewing images and doing various vision operations on the images, such as finding edges. My alogirthm only uses the package's ability to determine pixels colors. Once the Raspberry Pi has this information, it can guide the pursuing CubeSat...
